We hope our Masonic website will help you to make a decision about joining. You can view our questions about Masonry section or get in touch to speak with one of our lodge members.

You may have already decided that Freemasonry is for you. If that is the case, welcome. Our lodge website is designed to help you make an informed decision about Masonry and whether it is right for you.

Freemasonry is shrouded in tradition and values that are as relevant to the modern man as they have been over the test of time. Those traditions have been passed on from generation to generation and you can play an active role in maintaining and upholding them by committing some of your free time to learning what Freemasonry can give you and what you can give in return.

Once you have browsed the site complete the online form. One of our lodge members will contact you for an informal chat to find out more about you. We will most likely meet with you locally or at the Masonic centre in Waterlooville and show you around. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to meet with members of the lodge.

The Formal Stuff

Once we have got to know you and are happy for you to join our lodge we will invite you to a more formal interview. Horndean Lodge of Harmony like any Masonic lodge, has a committee made up of experienced Masons. This is another great opportunity for you to ask any questions and for us to explore why you want to join Freemasonry.

On success of your interview a date will be set for you to become a member of Horndean Lodge of Harmony. The lodge Secretary will keep you informed of what will be required for your big day.
