About Horndean Lodge of Harmony
Our Freemasons lodge meets at a dedicated building called ‘Centrepoint’, Five Heads Road, Horndean, Hampshire. Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month:
- December (Carol Night)
- April (Harmony night)
By road just off the A3, in the village of Horndean. Nearest rail is either Petersfield or Havant.
The whole ethos of the Lodge is "Harmony" and of course not only in the Lodge but extended to our social activities as well.
These of course include our ladies and such events as a summer dinner dance, a Christmas Carol evening with the Royal British Legion Band and a Ladies Festival held in the spring each year, which is either a week-end away or just a single night.
Our widowed ladies are invited to attend all these events but we also have a special Christmas lunch just for them.
Horndean Lodge of Harmony Charities
It is well known that Freemasonry donates a huge amount of money to national and international charities and national disasters, but what is not so well known is that local Lodges such as ours not only give to the Masonic charities but also to local ones as well.
Each year a member can petition for a donation for a local charity that he is involved in, and this may be granted.
This is all part of our ‘Freemasonry in the Community’ program.
